Orbital debris, or “space junk,” is any man-made object in orbit around the Earth that no longer serves a useful purpose. Space junk can be bad news for an orbiting satellite. On February

Cité A Docks - Student Dorms Made from Shipping Containers

Cité A Docks is a student housing project, located in Le Havre, France from Cattani Architects. The 100 new student dorm rooms were created by transforming old shipping containers into a four-story building. Each apartment has 24 square meters and includes a bathroom and a kitchen. Grass Couch

Alright, I admit it, I wasn't saved in the rapture, and Macho Man Randy Savage was. There is no justice. Oh well. So the other day I was sitting in my front yard when the police came by and said something to the effect of, "You can't have a couch on your front lawn, and you need to be wearing pants." After a scuffle and a citation, I acquiesced. After a brief search, I found the perfect

The Origins of Six Modern Easter Traditions

From Buzzfeed:

1. Easter Basket:
Modern use of the Easter basket can be traced back to the Middle Ages. Celebrating the end of Lent, Catholics around Europe would hold Mass and feast on large meals, usually brought to the church in baskets to be blessed by the Priest. Eventually this morphed into the modern smorgasbord of candy and treats.
