LEN TV: Zombie Jamboree

LENTV returns after a long break with some wonderful barbershop quartet music!

For those who have been following our podcast for some time, you may recall the "phantom" barbershop quartet that I used to hear at our old house and that I nearly called the police on during a feverish state. Well, as it turns out they are great folk known as the What's Next Quartet and they helped us warm our home by performing a live set in our backyard during our housewarming party. It seemed only fitting that they sang Lord Jellicoe's "Zombie Jamboree to about 130 guests. Check em out and feel free to friend them (and hire them!) via Facebook.

Len TV: D-Day

On October 25th, we picked up the newest member of our family, a soft coated wheaten terrier. It was a surprise birthday gift for our eldest daughter's 8th birthday. Luckily, we recorded the moment of her meeting her new pet for the first time and we're happy to share the moment with you. Happy Birthday, Siena!

Laughing Without Smiling: A Challenge

When I was younger, in the caveman days when I was in High School, my friends and I used to sit around watching Superchicken reruns, eating many meatball hoagies and drinking scads of Hi-C Ecto-Cooler. During the downtimes, we would challenge each other to try to laugh without smiling. Strangely enough, the idea came from listening to, of all things, the U2 song "Running To Stand Still". The original lyric was:
"You gotta cry without weeping, talk without speaking, scream without raising your voice."
I changed the first lyric and the rest was history.

Today, during one of the many rainstorms that have passed over the area, a few of my family members were sitting around chatting and I brought up the challenge again. Before you knew it, we were in tears laughing, totally dismantling the premise of the challenge. At some point I thought it might be a good idea to open up the challenge to other people. And thus, a vidcast was born.

So here is the challenge. Can you laugh without smiling? If you can, we'd love to see your video attempts. You can upload them to YouTube and then link them here...or better yet: I've started a Facebook group for this little challenge. Feel free to join and add your video attempts over there. Should be fun and at the very least, be a great time waster. Have fun!

Len TV: Jog-A-Thon

Len TV returns with the results of the Jog-A-Thon!

As you may remember, we asked our listeners to sponsor co-host, Neil, in a Jog-A-Thon to benefit a local elementary school. Well, this afternoon, the event took place and you'll have to watch for yourself to see how Neil did.

There are some prizes up for grabs and Nora will be figuring out that end of it. Someone will be getting a Monster By Mail drawn by either myself, Nora or Neil. Plus, thanks to your pledges, Neil may be hosting an upcoming episode of Jawbone Radio. Thanks for all your support. I firmly believe that we have the best fans in podcasting. Enjoy the vidcast!

Len TV: Rock Band Night

Len TV returns! On this episode, we show you a glimpse of what a typical Rock Band night looks like at the Nobby Annex. Screwed up lyrics, silly hats and failure on expert drums...it's what you expect from a typical Rock Band night.
